About Thomas E. Kennedy
Thomas E. Kennedy’s fiction, essays, travel writing, and translations appear regularly in publications in the United States and Europe. Among his novels are the four volumes of The Copenhagen Quartet, four independent novels about the seasons and souls of the Danish capital. Kennedy holds a Master of Fine Arts in Writing from Vermont College and a Ph.D. from the University of Copenhagen. He has been awarded the U. S. National Magazine Award (an “Ellie”), The Eric Hoffer Award (novel), an O. Henry Prize, a Pushcart Prize, the Frank Expatriate Writing Award, as well as first place in The Gulf Coast and European Story competitions. Kennedy lives in Copenhagen, where he has two children.
