Life is difficult for Leo, a rising detective on the L.A. Police force. Everyone in the department knows that his father has just been released from prison, after serving years for a mob murder. DEADLY LULLABY is the outgrowth of Robert McClure's memorable short story that originally appeared online and in print in BEST AMERICAN MYSTERY STORIES. The story was optioned by Sony Pictures and has recently been re-optioned by them for five times the original payment and a substantial bonus due on publication of this novel.
