Sobel Weber Associates, Inc.

The principals in the agency are Nat Sobel and Judith Weber, who direct an in-house staff and work closely with a coterie of Hollywood film agents and co-agents in foreign countries throughout the world.

 
NAT SOBEL founded the agency in 1970. He is a former bookseller, publisher's sales rep., marketing director, and subsidiary rights agent. He holds a B.A. in English from the City College of New York. He is a founder of the New York Literary Writers Conference.

JUDITH WEBER joined the agency in 1977, following several years as Director of Publicity, Promotion, and Advertising and in senior editorial positions with major publishers. She is a graduate of Brooklyn College with a B.A. in English and New York University with a Masters degree in English. She has been a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals and of Les Dames d'Escoffier. She is a founder of the New York Literary Writers Conference.

 
ADIA WRIGHT joined the agency in 2005 as Contracts and Royalties Manager. Previously, she had worked in the Contracts departments of Random House and Hyperion. Adia is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where she earned a B.A. in Communications with a minor in Comparative Literature. In 2014 she was named a Director of Sobel Weber Associates.

 
  ISABELLE FANG joined the agency in 2021. She graduated from The New School with a B.A. in
  Literary Studies. Before joining Sobel Weber, she interned at Aevitas Creative Management 
  and Writers House. 

  KEITH STILLMAN joined the agency in 2022. He holds a Masters of Arts in Professional Writing
  from Kennesaw State University and a Certificate in Publishing from NYU. Before Sobel Weber, he
  interned at Writers House, sold books at Barnes & Noble, and edited fiction for Kennesaw State's
  literary journal, The Crambo.

  JENNY LEWIS joined the agency in 2022. She holds a B.A. in English Literature from Clark University. 
  Prior to her time at Sobel Weber, Jenny  completed an internship with Writers House, and has worked
  as a freelance writer and editor, and as a bookseller.
