All the Beautiful Lies

Days before his college graduation, Harry Ackerson receives the devastating news that his father has died, an apparent suicide.

He returns to his father's home in Maine, where he's welcomed by his stepmother, a woman much younger than his father, with whom he's always had an uneasy relationship. Alice is beautiful, but cold and aloof.

As the two begin to pick up the pieces of their lives, Harry finds the determination of his father's death as suicide difficult to accept, and he begins to look into the circumstances more closely.

Harry meets a mysterious young woman named Grace McGowan who claims to be new to the area. As he gets to know her, Harry begins to suspect that Grace may not be a complete stranger to his family. But she isn't the only attractive woman taking an interest in Harry. The sensual Alice is also growing closer, coming on to him in an enticing, clearly sexual way.

Mesmerized by these two women, Harry finds himself falling deeper under their spell. Yet the closer he gets to them, the more isolated he feels, disoriented by a growing fear that both women are hiding dangerous - even deadly - secrets...and that neither one is telling the truth.
